Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1st Man on The Moon

It was a moment unlike any other in the history of mankind. On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first person to set foot on the moon, while an entire nation was glued to the tv or radio experiencing history. This monumental achievement opened the door to possibilities that exist beyond our horizon. It sparked the imagination of future generations that exploring space was more than just a dream. As we humbly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing, it’s hard not to imagine how it felt to be on that mission. The excitement, anticipation, uncertainty and solitude.

I hope this collection of songs, inspired by the moon itself, helps you to escape to the moon and consider all the feelings experienced during that time. The planning, building, calculations, training, everything that was required to make this happen and being in that moment: A vessel launching off the earth, successfully navigating space to the moon. Touching down on lunar soil, and setting foot on the unknown. Uncertain of what challenges lie ahead and if you’ll even make it back home, 238,900 miles away…

Enjoy this collection of songs as we commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1st moonwalk.
