It’s April and we’re celebrating National Car Care Month. One study was just released that women aren’t comfortable with car care maintenance. Courtney Hansen is with us to bring some easy to remember tips to care for your car and feel more comfortable in maintaining your vehicle.
The car industry is mostly dominated by men so women tend to feel uncomfortable when it comes to taking care of their cars. But Courtney Hansen author of The Garage Girls Guide to Everything You Need to Know About Your Car is here with an easy to remember acronym!
T – TIRES. You want to make sure they’re at the right inflation for the vehicle. Test before road trips and once a month to be sure it’s at the right level.
O – OIL. Check your oil after every few fill ups. Make sure the engine is off and has had time to cool.
W – WIPERS. Always be sure to swap out the wiper blades. You can pick out replacements and they’re fairly inexpensive and easy to switch.
