Sugar Coated Walnuts
From The Magic of Christmas- Page 71
Sugar coated walnuts are one of those treats I look forward to having during the holiday season. The first time I had them, my friends Kristin and Nancy brought them to me after a Christmas concert in Columbus, Ohio. I can’t even begin to tell you how delicious (and addicting) they are. I wanted to hoard them and make them last . . . but that was impossible. So, they graciously shared the recipe with me.
The wonderful thing about these walnuts is they are so easy to prepare and very easy to share. They make a delicious hostess gift if you are dropping in on someone going to a holiday party. It’s a good thing to have on hand if someone surprises you with a gift too. Wrap the nuts in a cellophane bag and tie it with a ribbon. You can keep lots of them in the cupboard. That way you won’t eat them all in one sitting.
I hope you enjoy this fantastic treat of Sugar Coated Walnuts from The Magic of Christmas 125 magical musings . . . and cookies.
The book is filled with wonderful Christmas thoughts and memories and cookie recipes submitted by my friends across the country and around the world..
